Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania launched a very aggressive residential rebate program in 2009 that pays $2.25 per watt up to 10kW. An Alternative Energy Credit (AEC) also pays consumers ~0.25 cents per watt with no limit. When you combine these programs with an interconnection agreement and the 30% Federal tax credit, you can drastically reduce the payback time of a residential solar system. Program rebates are for “primary residences only”.
