Solar and Electrical Contractor (NJ and PA)
The following is the scope of work included in a standard “turn key” design and installation service.

1. Perform roof evaluation.
2. Complete solar shade analysis and a system performance calculation.
3. Design specified system which include:
a. Single-line wiring diagram illustrating how the individual modules will be connected to form the array and how the arrays will be connected to the inverter(s).
b. Plot plan illustrating the location of the PV array, inverters and point of interconnection on the property,
c. Roof diagram illustrating the roof dimensions (angle, length and width),
d. Roof diagram illustrating location of PV modules on the roof, orientation and tilt of PV modules.
4. Submit a Pre Approval Application to create an “incentive reservation” on behalf of the Customer.
5. Secure electrical permit.
6. Submit interconnection application.
7. Install specified system in good workman like manner.
8. Arrange electrical inspection according to Township guidelines.
9. Conduct system overview with customer: Electrical Contractor shall complete the final System orientation with Customer including the following activities:
a. Verify proper System operation with Customer present.
b. Explain how the system functions.
c. Review inverter functionality.
10. Upon project completion, the Electrical Contractor will provide the Customer an Owner’s Manual, which include:
a. Name and address of the Electrical Contractor
b. System model name or number
c. Identification and explanation of system components
d. Single line drawing of system
e. Description of system operation
f. Description of system maintenance
g. Description of emergency procedures
h. Vacation or extended time away from the building procedures
i. Contractor’s parts and labor warranty
j. Copies of manufacturer’s warranties for all major system components
k. Manufacturer’s user manuals
11. Submit a Post Installation Reimbursement Application.
12. Perform periodic test reports or a log for inspection.
